As an artist I am interested in the meaningfulness of the beautiful.
As a storyfinder I often lose myself in other people's stories.
As an advocate of cooperation I try to do a meaningful job by bringing together people with different stories.
Born in Romania in 1985. With a BA in economics (Romania) and a MA in fine arts (Italy), I worked three years as a marketing analyst in Romania, doing secondary research and another seven years in Italy as an independent consultant for heritage projects and a visual artist. My work explores the fine boundary between art, heritage and technology through inter-disciplinary projects that promote a more creative and participatory worldview. I express this vision by combining critical thinking and artistic work, presenting them at exhibitions and conferences. As a PhD researcher at the Centre for World Cinemas and Digital Cultures, University of Leeds, my practice-based project explores the creative potential of home movies inside the audio-visual sector by adopting a three-fold perspective: therotic, practic and artistic.
